NSPS encourages comments to FCC
According to National Society of Professional Surveyors Executive Director Curt Sumner, the issue of LightSquared’s interference with GPS reception (as has been verified in testing) continues to be a major concern for professional land surveyors. LightSquared is pressuring the Federal Communications Commission to allow it to move ahead with its plans and disregard the recent independent test results.
Help is needed in urging the FCC not to allow this happen. Link here for details regarding how to submit comments to the FCC. Contact Sumner at Curtis.Sumner@acsm.net or NSPS Government Affairs Consultant Laurence Socci laurence@theclagroup.com with questions.
