ODOT RTN Now Tracks All GNSS Constellations

The Ohio Department of Transportation is pleased to announce that the ODOT RTN (Real-Time-Network), formally known as the ODOT VRS or ODOT CORS, is now fully capable of tracking all GNSS constellations. With our upgraded network software and equipment upgrades to CORS stations, users of the ODOT RTN, with proper equipment, have gained the ability to receive corrections for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou GNSS constellations as well as the GPS L5 signal thus greatly enhancing their access to RTK corrections in difficult environments.

To access the RTN’s full capability two new mount points are now available: ODOT_G_R_E_C_RTX_CMRx for Trimble users and ODOT_G_R_E_C_RTX_RTCM3 for non-Trimble equipment. RTN users with equipment capable of tracking the Galileo and Beidou signals simply select the correct ODOT RTX mount point for their equipment brand after enabling Galileo, Beidou, and L5 to receive the enhanced correction stream. If you require assistance or have questions on how to access and utilize the new RTX correction streams please contact your equipment dealer.
