Responsibilities:
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process.
Use your knowledge of ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic mapping, courthouse research, boundary surveys, construction layout, and GPS surveys to contribute to the project’s success.
Prepare and maintain maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
Direct and verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
Manage survey projects from proposal through approval process.
Monitor quality and compliance with professional standards and risk management.
Conduct survey and deed research to complete boundary resolution for property boundaries and rights-of-way.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ohio Professional Surveyor or working toward license.
Bachelor’s Degree in Survey/Engineering or similar 3+ years of experience in surveying Experience performing property, boundary, topographic, utility, construction stakeout, and record surveys is required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong background in boundary/property law and boundary analysis Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously.
Working knowledge of a robot total station and GPS receiver preferred, but not required.
