Understanding & Utilizing UAV Technology  - In this session, Anthony Pascuzzi & Richard Hall will cover which drone is right for you to UAV Setup and Preflight settings as well as post processing Photogrammetry and LiDAR data in Trimble Business Center/ DJI Terra & LP360 Software.

Survey of Northwest Ohio  - David Andrus, P.S. & Terrence Wright, P.E., P.S. will discuss the surveying of Northwest Ohio, including the Harris Survey, the Fulton Survey, USR, Private Grants, the Old Ohio-Michigan Line, and the Michigan Strip.

Ohio’s Registration Act and Professional Ethics for Professional Engineers & Surveyors - John Greenhalge will cover the Board’s Registration Act and the Code of Ethics for Engineers and Surveyors. Topics discussed include: company licensure requirements, preparing for the continuing education audit, how to protect yourself and your firm, how to avoid common violations of the registration act and the Board’s complaint process. This program is two hours and can be counted towards Ohio’s requirement to complete two hours of continuing education in Board rules or professional ethics each biennial renewal period. Greenhalge will also provide an update on recent Board activities.

PLSO Past, Present & Future - Jonathan Link, P.S., PLSO President Elect, will lead this session on the history of PLSO and how it became to the PLSO of today. Plans for the organization’s future and how they will affect members and the surveying profession will be discussed.

Riparian Law and its Applications in Ohio Michael Pniewski, P.E., P.S., CFM will provide an overview of Riparian Law with specifics related to Court Decisions in the State of Ohio.

Unwritten Title Rights and Ohio In this session, Michael Pniewski, P.E., P.S., CFM will discuss Unwritten Title Rights reinforced by Ohio Court Decisions and Applications.

Who’s the Smartest Surveyor in the Room - In this Jeopardy-style session, contestants will compete to be crowned “The Smartest Surveyor in the Room”.  The questions/answers will focus on surveying topics, including Ohio Minimum Standards, surveying history, the State Board of Registration, the Ohio Revised and Administrative Codes, and much more.

The full seminar registration rate for PLSO members is $299. A one-day registration rate for either Thursday or Friday is available for $199 for members.

The Thursday Night Hospitality Cabin is also included in your registration thanks to the PLSO Toledo Chapter. The chapter is providing drinks and food from Tony Packo's. Make sure to mark your attendance at this event on your registration.
