GPD is currently seeking a Land Survey Office Technician in our Akron, OH office location.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Degree in Surveying, CAD Drafting or related field, however not required. 2+ years of experience.
Must be CAD proficient, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience is a plus.
Experience in aspects of surveying.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in multi-tasking and support multiple groups within GPD.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
High level of attention to detail.
Valid Driver’s License is required.

Day-to-day job responsibilities:
Processing field data.
Preparation of topographic survey projects.
Preparation of survey plats.
Working with multiple types of data including GIS and laser scan data.
Researching of various city, county, state records.
Working with team to develop mapping for survey projects.
